IDENTITY CRISIS

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
Galatians 3:28, NKJV

I am a married, straight, fifty-five year-old American caucasian male who is five eight with brown hair and green eyes, a Southern Baptist Pastor and Texas Ex who plays a little racquetball. But the terms and labels that describe me do not define me, for my identity is in Christ alone. If you are a Christian, yours is too, and we are one in Him. If you are not a Christian, your identity is still rooted in Christ since you were made in the image of God. (Genesis 1:26) Today, social discord fueled by identity politics completely misses the mark as people define themselves by their descriptions rather than in relation to Jesus. Either we find our unity in Christ or we will not find it at all. We must see souls instead of skin.
