Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May they prosper who love you.“
Psalm 122:6, NKJV
While millions extol the value of world peace, few ever do anything to achieve it. Astonishing as it may be to his critics, Donald J. Trump, the 45th President of the United States, is now a leading contender for the Nobel Peace Prize to be offered on October 9, 2020. Trump presided over the signing of historic diplomatic pacts between Israel, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain, with other Arab nations, like Saudi Arabia, Oman, Sudan, and Morocco, possibly following suit with their recognition of Israel. It is mind boggling that a man married three times, earning his fortune in casinos, and regularly making offensive remarks, is nevertheless a genuine force for peace. This is no political endorsement. Vote however you like. But the Bible clearly calls us to support Israel. If you support Trump, rejoice that he did something the Bible says to do. If you do not support Trump, take comfort in the knowledge that if Donald Trump can promote peace on earth, anyone can.
