COVID CONVERSATION

If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.
James 1:5, NKJV

The Bible teaches when we don’t know what to do, we are to ask Jesus. He knows the way and will show us. On a practical, human level, if we have questions about our health, we should ask our doctor. In my town, we have entered a phase of the pandemic in which the impact of the disease has peaked just as the rules and precautions have all been relaxed. In our confusion over the safety and effectiveness of vaccines, all sorts of political, economic and apocalyptic theories have been advanced. Pronouncements made one day are contradicted the next. Presently, 35% of the people in our state are fully vaccinated. What should we do? First, pray about it and ask God to give you the wisdom you need. Second, have a talk with your doctor. My family and I have all been vaccinated. Because medical histories, prescriptions, and other factors vary, your doctor may advise you differently. Third, however anyone else responds, be respectful and kind toward others as we navigate this crisis together.
