I have heard it said that things have a way of working themselves out. I do not believe it for a minute. Things are not at work. God is. He is in control. Every circumstance and situation is not ideal, but we serve a God who turns bad things into good things.
When a caterpillar becomes a butterfly, God turns ugly into beautiful. When cocoa beans are ground and flavored, God turns bitter into sweet. When lost souls repent and trust in Jesus, God turns sinners into saints.
He is working on things and He is working on us. So if things have got you down today, remember that while the pain and the problems are real, so is the God who is working all things together for your good.
